AMERICAN LAMB JAM
On Sunday, March 7th, Casablanca competed in the first Annual Lamb Jam Boston at the Charles Hotel sponsored by the American Labm Board and BostonChefs.com. This ultimate lamb taste off features 16 of the area’s top chefs and their creative preparations of luscious lamb dishes. Learn more here…
TASTE OF CAMBRIDGE 2009
The 7th annual TASTE OF CAMBRIDGE was held on June 25th at the Charles Hotel. There were a record number of tickets sold to benefit Club Passim’s Culture for Kids and Cambridge Cares About Aids. Casablanca Restaurant served the infamous Sari’s Lamb with a spicy yogurt sauce, charred tomatoes and mint oil served on pita bread. All through 2008, CASABLANCA commemorated 30 years in Harvard Square. Yes, folks, it was 1977 when this beloved Brattle Street hideaway opened its doors to hungry (and thirsty) students, professors, Cantabridgians and curious out of towners. Since then, all who enter enthusiastically embrace its welcoming atmosphere, and the whimsical one-of-a-kind décor that brings to life Hollywood’s most memorable film romance.
Authors, politicos, scientists, musicians and more flock to Casabalanca’s bar, and foodies are in love with its endlessly creative cuisine with a bent towards the Mediterranean. Times change, yet the classic film theme retains its mysterious and romantic allure, while the restaurant’s menus are totally in synch with the 21st century.
